PU Hereford Ornate ceiling medalion rose -Adding style to your decor

Polurethane (PU) is widely considered the best overall material for a ceiling medallion because it is lightweight, inexpensive, moisture-resistant, and easy to install with simple adhesive. However, the ideal choice depends on your budget, installation skill, and desire for historic authenticity.

    Installation help

    Turn off Power: Shut off the electricity to the light fixture or ceiling fan at the circuit breaker.
    Remove the Fixture: Unscrew the canopy and disconnect the wiring (take a photo first for reference).
    Prepare the Medallion: Ensure the center hole matches the size of your ceiling electrical box. If it is a solid piece, drill or cut a center hole for the wires. 
    Apply Adhesive: Put a continuous bead of polyurethane-safe construction adhesive or no more nails on the back side of the medallion.
    Press and Secure: Center it over the electrical box on the ceiling, press it firmly, pull it back slightly to set the glue, and press it back in place. 
    Reinstall Fixture: Put the light or fan back up through the center, caulk any small gaps against the ceiling, and paint if necessary once dry.
